How we give back to the dogs who inspire us

The truth is thousands of good dogs with bad habits are surrendered to shelters every day. As they spend more time in the shelter environment the problems get worse. For many dogs—even those who previously had no issues—long stays result in kennel-induced behavior issues.

Unfortunately, dogs with issues tend to languish longer in shelters due to the understandable reluctance of most adopters to take on a dog with possible ongoing behavior challenges.

Providing training for dogs in need

At Bullys Behaven our mission has always been helping dogs…especially those who need us most.

We volunteer with a number of Tri-State Area shelters and rescues, devoting many hours each week to providing complimentary behavior assessments, advice and training recommendations. We also offer in-depth training to area rescues who pull dogs from shelters and save them from euthanasia. Saving the “unsavable” is our specialty.

Our mission is to help dogs…especially those in need.
